Eli sighed, "I'm...not sure..." Eli said turning to look at Cassie.

Cassie frowned and hugged him "It'll be okay, we'll find out what's going on," she tells him. She let go of him and kissed him then looked at the gord of sand. "Is this what you were talking about last night?" she asks.

Eli nodded. "I usually wear that around on my back when I go places that don't have a lot of sand. I was just happy to be with you last night so I didn't think about it till the Hydra decided to screw everything up." He said to her. He kissed her again and then stood up and walked over to the gord. He placed his hand on the sand and the feeling of unease was even greater then before.

Cassie got up and walked over to him "I'm gonna go to my bunk I'll be right back," she says. She gives Eli a kiss on the cheek then walks to the door. She left and went to her cabin.

Eli kissed her back, and nodded as she left. Suddenly after she was gone the unease in the sand worsened and Eli raised an eyebrow. He closed his eyes and tried to find the cause of such disturbances when suddenly he was slammed into and sent flying to the wall. He groaned in pain and got slammed again.

Cassie walked in and saw Eli, she ran over to him. "Are you okay?" she asked. She looked at Eli "What happened?" she asked.

Eli groaned again in pain. "Something hit me...but...it's must have left when you came back." He said to her, he continued to groan and his eyes started to glaze over and flutter.

Cassie looked at Eli "Can you think of what would do that, 'cause people say I'm harmless," she says. She looked around making sure there was nothing here. She sighed and looked at a window.

Eli groaned in pain again. He managed to kiss her cheek but that was about the most he could do, besides talking. "Yeah I'm sure it left when you came back. The...the sand went twice as crazy when you shut the door and walked to your cabin, and then the thing slammed me...." Eli managed to say before going limp and passing out. He slept in unconciousness, unaware of whatever Cassie would say.

"Oh me gods!" Cassie yells and tries to pick Eli but couldn't. She looked around "Why do you pass out, now," she thought. She looked at him and looked around to try to find what hit Eli. She sat on the ground thinking and she shook Eli "Wake up, please," she says. "Please, wake up." She looked at him seeing him so limp made her sad.

Eli groaned in pain every time Cassie shook him, but still he didn't make up, He tried to mumbled something to her, but it was slurred and couldn't be understood at all. He continued to sleep

Eli groaned some more and his eyes began to flutter. They opened for a second and he stared at Cassie. "Help me up on the bed, please." He said to her as he fell down after trying to get up.

Cassie looked at Eli and tried to get him up. She failed, Cassie grabbed his arm and bent down and put it over her shoulder. She stood up with Eli and got him to lay down on his bunk.

"Thank you, Cassie." He said and kissed her cheek before falling back onto the mattress. "I just wish I knew what hit......" Eli started to say but trailed off again as he went unconcious again.

Cassie sighed and sat down next to him. "What hit you?" she asked Eli, she knew she wouldn't get a responce though. Cassie kissed Eli, "Why do you keep getting hurt? Why not me?" she asked herself.

Eli continued to sleep, his groans of pain increased and decreased in volume with each breath he took.

Cassie sighed, and looked at Eli. She laid back, she thought about from when she met Eli all the way 'till now. Wow, she thought and then sat up, and looked out a window.

Eli continued to sleep, but the good thing was that he wasn't groaning in pain as much as earlier.

Eli rested easy and after an hour or so his eyes fluttered open and he yawned rather loudly. "Cassie?" He asked, not seeing her at first.

Eli smiled up at her. "Yeah, I'm feeling much better too. Granted I'm still injured but I'm not graoning in pain anymore." He said to her and sat up as best as he could.
