Sabarette's full name is Sabarette Mignon Everon, and she has no nicknames. Age and Birthday:
Born on July fourth, 1994, Sabarette is seventeen years of age. Gender:
Sabarette has and always will be female. Camp experience:
Sabarette has never been to camp before, and she is a brand new camper.
I'm Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?Height:
Apparently, Artemis was a bit off when she decided to make Sabarette and didn't realize that most people aren't six feet and four inches tall, which was the height that she had planned as Sabarette's full adult height. Many times, Sabarette wondered why she was so tall, but it turned out that the only trait that Artemis wanted to give Sabarette that she had was inhuman height. Hair:
While many people would think that Artemis would make Sabarette look somewhat like herself and give Sabarette auburn hair, Sabarette instead has bright red hair, almost like Rachel Elizabeth Dare's. Sabarette keeps her hair kind of short, but not very short, just an inch or two past her chin. Sabarette's hair is wavy-ish, although it used to be a lot more curly. Many people assume that Sabarette's hair is dyed because of the intense red colour, but the shade of Sabarette's hair is actually very natural. Eyes:
Sabarette has very odd coloured eyes. Instead of being a single definable colour. Sabarette's eyes are a blue-ish gray-ish colour, almost like the ocean on a stormy day, but not quite. Her eyes have a shimmery quality to them, almost as if they were sparkling, but not quite. This gives her eyes a look that's almost childish, but there's a certain hardness in her eyes that makes it impossible for the sparkling to make her look young. Piercings:
Sabarette has been considering getting a lib ring or possibly a nose ring, but all her parents have been allowing her to get are some simple ear piercings. She normally wears a pair of ruby studs that she got for her birthday. Tattoos:
Sabarette has been wanting to get a tattoo of a snake, or something of the like, although she's under-aged and cannot. Distinguishing features:
Something that really sets Sabarette apart from other people is her hair. With it's bright red colour, it makes it very easy to spot Sabarette in a crowd of people. Not only that, but she tends to tower over people, which makes it even easier to spot her. The combination of towering over people and having her very bright hair makes her easily spotted, seeing as if she's taller, not only does she tower over people, but it's easier to see her hair. Style:
Sabarette has an odd style. While her style is punk, it's also a style that's very easy to move around in and that many people could probably get away with wearing without having a punk attitude. Sabarette just adds some things here and there to make it look a bit more punk, such as combat boots and a ton of bracelets.
While training, Sabarette normally wears an orange Camp Half Blood t-shirt that she's obviously modified. Some of her modifications include her tearing the seams on one of the sides of the shirt, and then putting it back together with safety pins, cut the sleeves off of, and many other things, as well as an old pair of jeans that are ripped up, or jean shorts if the weather permits it. She also wears a pair of very beat up sneakers and are only threads away from falling apart.
At Least I'm Not As Sad (As I Used To Be)Likes:
- Arguing - Unlike many people, Sabarette enjoys arguing with people. She likes the feeling of the heat spreading all over her body and the slight tremble of anger that she gets, as well as the feeling that she can say anything. She also kind of likes the way that her vision somewhat blanks out when she's in a blind rage. She enjoys the feeling of not being in control that comes with anger, because it feels kind of like anything is possible.
- Being right - Well, everyone likes the feeling of being right, but Sabarette more than others. She's kind of self centered in this way, because she prefers to be the one who is always correct.
- Proving people wrong - Sabarette loves to prove people wrong. One of the reasons is that arguing often comes with this. Another reason ties in with her like of being correct. She likes to prove that she's right and someone else isn't.
- Challenges - There is nothing that Sabarette loves more than a good challenge. She'll take on nearly any challenge for the feeling of beating someone, or just for the heck of it. She doesn't really need a reason to take up a challenge.
Dislikes:
- Being proven wrong - Well, seeing as she likes being right, Sabarette cannot stand being proven wrong. This usually puts her into either a huge funk or a blind rage. If it's the latter, she'll normally end up plotting and scheming for things that she knows she'll probably never do, but it's still fun to plot and scheme nonetheless.
- Being beaten - Another thing Sabarette doesn't like is being beaten. While she enjoys challenges, she hates it when she fails at them, or someone else does better. She'll often insist that the other person cheated and that they need to have a rematch, that they should let her try again.
- Poetry - Sabarette likes things being somewhat straightforward, and poetry is the complete opposite of that. It has double meanings and the words are like red herrings, leading you in the opposite direction, which Sabarette doesn't like.
- Cowards - This one is kind of explanatory. If she likes challenges and arguing, she's obviously going to not like people who can't stand on their own and cowards.
Strengths:
- Strong willed - Sabarette is very strong willed and stubborn. If her mind is set to doing something, she won't give up until she's completed the task at hand.
- Archery - Being a daughter of Artemis, Sabarette is unnaturally good at archery. While she is nowhere close to as good as Artemis or Apollo, she is better than the hunters.
- Working under pressure - Sabarette is one of those people who works far better under pressure than at any other time. She often saves work for just before the deadline, because she knows she'll get it done better then.
Weaknesses:
- She never turns down a challenge - Never turning down a challenge can be a terribly bad thing. Someone who does this is often rash and will do anything on an impulse, and they tend to miss the danger in a situation if it seems like a good challenge, and Sabarette is no exception. If something looks like a good challenge to her, it doesn't matter that she might die; it's on.
- She doesn't know when enough is enough - Sabarette is somewhat cold blooded, in the sense that she has pretty much no mercy. If she beats someone in a competition, she'll taunt the other person to no end and brag about it around them.
- She trains excessively - Sabarette is one of those people who will do something more than needed just for the sake of doing it. She kind of always needs to be doing something productive, so she chooses to train, whether it's sword fighting, archery, running, swimming, biking, just as long as she's doing something. The downside to this is that she's awfully skinny, too skinny for someone her age, just because of all of the excess training she does. Sabarette basically will train in order to clear her head, just so she doesn't get lost in her thoughts. Instead of doing that, she gets lost in her training.
Fears:
- That she'll grow up to be a failure - This is kind of why Sabarette is always trying to do so many things. She's afraid that when she grows up, she's going to be a big, fat failure, which isn't something she wants. This also goes off as far as something about her disappointed her birth mother, which she later found out wasn't true when she was brought to camp, but then she started worrying that Artemis wouldn't be proud of her only daughter and that she had to be perfect.
Secrets:
- The fact that she is, quite literally, made of stardust - Sabarette's biggest secret is how she was born, or created, which fits better. Sabarette's birth was far from natural, seeing as her mother was Artemis, who was a maiden goddess. Instead of having Sabarette the natural way, Artemis instead made Sabarette out of stardust. As soon as Sabarette's parents told her about this, she started to get very defensive of the somewhat shimmery tint to her skin and the way her eyes sparkled.
Dreams:
- Win some huge competition - Well, seeing as Sabarette is one of those people who wants to be the best at stuff, she naturally wants to win some huge competition. Maybe make it to the Olympics, or maybe win an Ironman Triathlon. She just wants to win some huge competition, because she's sure that if she does something like that, her mother would be proud, which is kind of the foundation of the dream.
Quirks:
- She tends to do some things just to clear her mind - There are certain things that Sabarette will do excessively just to clear her mind, like training. If she has spare time, she'll spend it training more instead of lazing around. She's one of those people who always feels the need to be productive.
Personality:
The easiest way to describe Sabarette's personality is as harsh and over competitive, but that's only by looking at the surface. Branching off of her being harsh, it's not just that she acts harsh, but there's just this cold, 'I'm better than you' attitude to her. This could be because she's the only child of Artemis ever and that she's made of stardust, and somehow she just naturally she sensed that she was better than everyone else; that she was different on a whole other level. Branching off of her being over competitive, she will do anything to win. If she has to play nasty and almost break the rules, but not quite, she will. If it involves crushing someone's feelings like a bug, she'll do it. Still, there are other aspects to Sabarette's personality. The people who get to know Sabarette know that she can be a great companion and she can be very compassionate. There are people who she has only worked with for minor projects, and, after spending that small amount of time working with her, they've realized that she actually is a lot nicer than they thought she was, and that she's kind of good at working with people. Kind of.
Family PortraitNationality:
Sabarette is from the good not really ol' U.S. of A. Birthplace:
Sabarette's place of birth is very hard to pinpoint. It's very possible that she was born at Olympus, but it isn't known for certain. Hometown:
Sabarette grew up in a city in North Carolina called Southport. Southport was located near Carolina Beach, and all Sabarette would have to do to get to the beach was take a ferry across the water. Father:
Sabarette's father's name was Hank Everon. While Hank wasn't her birth dad, seeing as she doesn't exactly have a birth dad, he was the man who raised her and was her legal guardian. Hank and his wife had adopted Sabarette when they found out that Elle, Hank's wife, couldn't have any children. When they met Sabarette, they just thought she was the cutest thing ever. Plus, there was just this shine to her eyes that made her seem so carefree and young.
Hank did everything he could to make Sabarette happy, he truly did, although he felt as if she wasn't very happy as she grew older. He knew that her mother was a goddess and that she had been made of stardust, for he had met Artemis, and he knew to take her to Camp Half Blood if anything went wrong. Many times, Hank and his wife would have arguments over whether or not to send Sabarette to camp, but it always ended with them concluding to not send her to camp. Well, until Sabarette got attacked by a monster, that is. Hank then took her to the camp. Mother:
Sabarette's birth mother is Artemis, goddess of the Hunt, wild animals, childbirth, and the moon. Many people may argue with, "But, Fishy, Artemis is a maiden goddess! She doesn't have any kids." Well, I was getting there. Artemis had been wanting to have a child for the longest time, but she did not want to break her vow. For a very long time (we're talking millennial here, people), Artemis tried to find a flaw in her plan, but she could find none. Well, until Hestia found a loophole in her vow, that is. When Hestia found a way to have a child, Artemis got all sorts of ideas. Not wanting to do the same thing as the goddess of the hearth, Artemis instead made herself a daughter from, quite literally, stardust. She crafted the the organs, skeleton, skin, hair, and all of the other necessities her daughter would need from stardust. Instead of raising the child as an immortal on Olympus, she, too, had her daughter grow up on earth.
The woman who raised Sabarette was a woman by the name of Elle Everon. Elle had been told that she could not have a child, so, instead, she and her husband decided to adopt a child. The child they adopted was, in fact, Sabarette. When Artemis found out that her daughter had been adopted, she left Sabarette's parents a note explaining everything, and how Sabarette should be taken to Camp Half Blood if anything happened to go wrong. In case Sabarette's adoptive parents didn't believe her, Artemis told her to meet her at a location near their house, where she proved to them that she was in fact a goddess. Over the years, Elle and her husband stayed in contact with Artemis, and many times Artemis would send one of her hunters over to check on Sabarette. Elle and her husband both agreed to this, so if Artemis was in the area, she would send a hunter over to talk to Sabarette's parents about how Sabarette was doing. Artemis would occasionally meet with Elle and her husband herself, but she made sure that Sabarette wasn't around whenever she did speak to them. Siblings:
Sabarette has no siblings. Pets:
Sabarette has no pets, although she really wants a husky. History:
On July fourth, 1994, Artemis had finally finished creating Sabarette, who would be her only child. Sabarette had been made out of stardust, seeing as Artemis had made a vow to never have children, and sent down to earth. For the few months in between being created and being adopted, Sabarette spent time in an orphanage, although she can't remember it very well.
Than, one day, a married couple that couldn't have children because of something that had happened to the wife came into the orphanage. When they saw Sabarette, they instantly fell in love with the child, and they adopted her. It was obvious that Sabarette wasn't their child, seeing as Sabarette had bright red hair and gray-ish blue-ish eyes, which no one on either side of the parent's family had, but that didn't really matter then.
When Sabarette was a child, she was very happy. There was no doubt in her mind that she was just like every other kid her age, and it didn't matter to anyone that she looked nothing like her parents. Sabarette just got along with all of the other kids just fine, and nearly everyone loved her.
Then Sabarette started to grow up. As she got older, Sabarette became, well...different,. She started acting different, as if she knew that there was something special about her. Sabarette's parents had started to worry that Sabarette found out that Artemis was her 'birth mother,' but she had no idea. She just had this feeling that she was different, that everyone else was kind of below her, but with this came other feelings, too. These other feelings related to her birth mother and father, whom Sabarette knew nothing about. She worried that they saw something in her that they didn't like, something that made them not love her. She started to become obsessed with doing everything right, as if she thought her birth parents could see her and see how well she was doing things.
It was around this time that Sabarette had started running. After watching the summer Olympics with her family, she decided that she wanted to be one of the people who ran. She took up running in her free time, which greatly worried her parents, seeing as Sabarette was only nine when she started doing this. They realized that she was acting awfully mature for her age, seeing as she was trying to be correct all the time, trying to show people up, and she was running in her free time. They did nothing about it, though, because Sabarette seemed to be happy, and they didn't want her to not be happy.
Eventually, Sabarette's training obsession went on to swimming, biking, and archery. After she picked up a bow for the first time, she just felt a click, and she convinced her parents to get her one of those practicing things for a bow and arrows. If she wasn't studying or swimming, running, or biking, she was bound to be practicing her archery skills in the backyard, which was most of the time.
Soon, Sabarette became obsessed with becoming this perfect person, but also keeping imperfections, such as her harsh and impulsive personality. Her friends dropped like flies, and soon she was left with very few people who really knew her. She didn't really mind this, seeing as having a lot of friends would get in the way of her training, but she did appreciate the few people who hung out with her. They were the only people who understood why she changed so suddenly and what was going on in her head.
One day while Sabarette was down at the beach, a monster found her and attacked. Luckily, the hunt happened to be in the area, although Artemis was not. The hunters killed the monster and, upon recognizing Sabarette, went back to her house with her to explain what had happened at the beach. After explaining, the hunters left, leaving Sabarette's parents to explain everything else, about Sabarette's mother and Sabarette's birth, and how they had to take her to Camp Half Blood, before they actually took her there.
BangarangPowers: - Controlling moonlight - Sabarette can somewhat bend the moonlight to her will, making the light shine in one area, but not another. She can also make the moonlight brighter. This only works when the moon is out (metaphorically). If a cloud is in the way of the moon or if there's a new moon, this power doesn't work. The smaller the moon is, the weaker her powers are. Sabarette can do this about sixteen times per night, and the strength of her power varies on how many times she has already used it. She has to sit down after bending the moonlight for about a minute or so.
- Archery - This isn't much of a power, but I'm putting it here because it's a result of being a daughter of Artemis. Sabarette is very good at archery, even better than the hunters, seeing as Artemis is her mother. She's nowhere near as good as the goddess or her brother, though, but she is unnaturally good at archery. The first time she picked up a bow at summer camp, the counselor was shocked when she told him that she had never done Archery before, after she got a bulls eye.
- Conversing with animals - While this doesn't use up any energy, Sabarette can converse with animals, as long as they're from the wild. Any animal that was raised in a home, Sabarette cannot speak to.
- She kind of shimmers - Another one that isn't exactly a power, but I'm putting this here. As a result of being made of stardust, Sabarette kind of shimmers slightly, as if she were covered in glitter. This is more noticeable at night time, although it's slightly noticeable in sunlight or under artificial light.
Role-play example:"Gods dammit, where the heck are they?" Sabarette muttered to herself as she dug through her clustered closet, searching for her running shoes. She didn't know how her closet could be this messy, but it just was. She frowned, reminding herself to clean it up later.
Finally, she found her running shoes. "Aha!" she muttered to herself as she pulled the shoes out of the mess, and then slipped them onto her feet. She was all set to go running. Her hair was in a ponytail, she had on her black running shorts, and she was wearing the tank top she always wore when she went running.
Once she had the shoes on, she checked her reflection in the mirror briefly before she jogged down the stairs and out the door. "I'm going out for a run!" she called out to her mom and dad. "I'll be back in a bit." Weapon:Like the hunters, Sabarette has a bow and arrows. The arrowheads are made out of Celestial Bronze, but they were designed to look like they were silver, like the arrows of the hunters.

Savitri's full name is Savitri (Sah-vee-tree) Ivv Rotama, and she is occasionally called Sav. She dislikes being called Sav, though. Age and Birthday:
Savitri is seventeen years of age, born on October thirteenth, 1994. Gender:
Camp experience:
Savitri has been at camp for about four years, although she took a break and tried to spend the last school year at home. Sadly, she got attacked by a monster and her mother sent her back to camp.
I'm Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?Height:
Savitri stands at a full height of five feet and ten inches, much taller than her mother. Her father was far taller than her mother, so she just waved it off to that. Savitri always had hated being so much taller than everyone else, because it made it easier for people to pick her out in a crowd. Still, it meant that people didn't mess with her, because they seemed to think (naively, may I add) that she'd somehow be able to pull some kung fu out of her sleeve and knock them out. Hair:
Savitri has long, wavy dark brown hair that goes about half-way down her back. On many occasions, she has been told that she has some of the most beautiful hair that they've ever seen, although she thinks that they say that because they're afraid of her. (She can't really say that they do so for no reason, either. There's the fact that she's so much taller than everyone else, and she always wears that skull makeup.) While Savitri usually rolls her eyes when someone calls her hair beautiful, she really does have a lot of pride in her hair. She carefully brushes it every day, and she even keeps a hair brush on her at all times, just in case. Eyes: Savitri has normal sized eyes that are a very dark brown, almost black. Every day, she surrounds her eyes with black makeup for her skull getup, neglecting the fact that the makeup doesn't exactly help with the fact that her eyes look black. Her eyes are very reflective, and they don't always show that much emotion.
Piercings:
Shockingly enough, Savitri doesn't have any piercings. In fact, she doesn't even have her ears pierced. Tattoos:
Many people were shocked to find out that Savitri didn't get the skull tattooed on her face, and that she just uses face makeup. That being regarded, Savitri has no tattoos. Distinguishing features:
The main distinguishing feature that Savitri has is her ever-present skull face makeup, which she applies every morning. She started wearing it because, well, why not? She though that it looked cool, and it was a much better change from her regular, boring old face. There's also her unnatural height, which usually causes most people to stare at her. Her height makes it easy for people to see her and pick her out from a crowd. Style:
Many people consider Savitri's style to be very odd, but Savitri doesn't really care. She always wears a white collared shirt, a black blazer, black slacks, and fancy black shoes. She also wears a black and white checkered tie. When she's training, she'll wear an old camp shirt, old jeans, and a pair of work boots, as well as a bandanna.
At Least I'm Not As Sad (As I Used To Be)Likes:
- Dim lighting Then she can't really see the people around her, and not seeing people is something that Savitri enjoys greatly.
- Cigarettes - There's just nothing like taking a nice smoke after a long and difficult day of school, being surrounded by complete idiots who all think they're total hot shots, when they're actually idiots.
- Being the center of attention - Let's just say she's a bit of a drama queen, shall we?
- Listening to music at deafening volumes - This ties into her whole 'not a people person' thing. If her music is at deafening volumes, then she can't hear people. If she can't hear people, then she doesn't get annoyed.
- Criticizing people - Let's be honest here, what fun is telling people that they're awesome? Telling people everything that's wrong with them is much more entertaining, especially watching them run into the bathroom sobbing.
- Swearing Do I really have to explain? It helps with the criticism.
- Dark chocolate - Dark chocolate has an even richer flavor than milk chocolate, and it has even less sweetness!
Dislikes:
- Bright lights - Then she can see people. Plus, she spends most of her time most of her time holed up in her room with the lights off, so why would she like bright lights?
- Bright colours - Call me stereotypical, but her dad's a death god for goodness sake! Of course she's not going to like bright colors.
- Milk chocolate - You may find this odd, but Savitri cannot stand the taste of milk chocolate. It's just too sweet for her. Savitri adores dark chocolate, but she just can't stand the milk chocolate.
- People who sum themselves up to be so much more than they are - I don't even think I have to explain this one.
- People who sum themselves up to be so much less than they are - Seriously, talking to someone who thinks they're so much worse than they really are is no fun.
Strengths:
- Sarcasm - What do you mean sarcasm isn't a strength? Of course it is! In fact, scientists say that it's healthy for someone to be sarcastic.
- Finding flaws in things - Who else would be there to make sure everything is perfect?
- Being quiet - Savitri has spent many years of her life sneaking past people and not talking to anyone, so this just comes naturally to her. That or it's because her dad's the lord of the underworld, and, if it's related to that, it's probably because of all of the ghosts down there.
- Running - Well, growing up in a neighborhood where crime rates are very high, she'd have to be a fast runner. How else would she escape the thugs and muggers?
Weaknesses:
- She can't tell when she's gone too far - Drama queen, plus a like of criticizing people, plus being a daughter of a death god, plus being kind of disconnected from people equals a pretty b****y attitude.
- Keeping her anger in check - Savitri is very easily angered, and she normally has a difficult time keeping her anger in check. If she gets angry, it's very obvious from the way her face turns red and she starts yelling.
- Controlling her impulses - Savitri never really was that great at controlling her impulses, and she never had been punished for doing crazy things because her mother was always working.
- She finds flaws in everything, mainly herself - While it is a good thing to make sure things are just right, it's not a good thing when it gets to the point where you obsess over it, like Savitri. She'll wake up really early so her makeup is perfect. She'll spend hours standing in front of a mirror, criticizing every little imperfect detail about herself.
Fears:
- Her insecurities about her appearance - Savitri is afraid that people will find out how insecure she really is behind her brave cover. She always acts as if she's the best person ever with her head held high, but she's actually really insecure.
- That she'll amount to nothing - Savitri has always had a fear that she'll end up the same way her mom did, pregnant in her teens and in a bad financial situation as she gets older.
- Being forgotten - A lot of Sivitri's happiness actually depends on people noticing her. While she dislikes being around people, she likes it when people notice that she's there or that she isn't. She's constantly afraid that people will stop noticing her, which is why she started wearing the facial makeup in the first place.
Secrets:
- She's insecure - Savitri is actually really insecure, but nobody knows it. She needs to have people watching her every move, even if it's so they can watch her mess up. She needs to have people talking about her, even if they're saying bad things about her. While this doesn't really fit most people's image of insecure, that's because Savitri is a different kind of insecure. She's insecure in the way that she needs to have attention, she needs to have people watching her.
- She's actually quite soft - What most people don't know about Savitri is that she's actually really soft, and she'll start crying at a lot of things. Most people don't talk to her, so she doesn't have to deal with crying from sad stories, and she's thankful for this. If people knew that she was actually some big soft-ball, they'd stop paying so much attention to her.
- She still sleeps with a teddy bear - What most people don't know about Savitri is that she still sleeps with a teddy bear, and she does collect stuffed animals. She also has a collection of dolls, too.
Dreams:
- Famous - Savitri really wants to be famous, whether it's for acting, writing, directing, or music, she just wants to be famous. It doesn't matter that people might think badly of her, she just cares that people will actually think about her. Basically, she just wants the attention
you don't love me you just want the attentioooooooonnnnnn
Quirks:
- She always wears skull face makeup - As mentioned many times before, Savitri always wears skull makeup.
- She has an obsession with her hair - Savitri is absolutely obsessed with her hair. She takes a brush with her everywhere she goes in case it gets messed up.
Personality:
Savitri mainly comes off as a mindless a-hole. She never says thank you, she glares and sneers at people, and she tends to respond to things with very few words. Actually, Savitri can be very nice, but she just acts like she's far better than everyone else. Basically, she decided that she would pretend that she were some a-hole instead of being her, so she wouldn't get picked on or hurt by anyone. The attitude she wears is kind of a shell. Once she's alone, though, she changes completely. She can be somewhat girly and enjoys watching Disney movies. She reads quite a lot, and she ends up crying at one point or another while reading any book. She has a teddy bear and doll obsession, and she has her own special collection. While Savitri has a complete dislike of being around people, she loves having people's attention. Sometime's she'll even spread nasty rumours about herself in order to get attention. While she doesn't let many people get to know her, those who do know a lot about her, and she completely trusts the few people who know her.
Family PortraitNationalities:
Savitri grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, located in the good ol' U.S. of A. She can speak both English and French. Birthplace:
Savitri was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Hometown:
Savitri grew up in a very run down area of New Orleans. Break ins and thefts were very common where she lived, and the local stores had about two attempted robberies per month, but they were normally sloppily done attempt robberies by teenagers. It wasn't too uncommon for dead body's of heroin of cocaine addicts to be found in the back allies. Father:
Savitri's father is Milo, the Hawaiian lord of the underworld. Mother:
Savitri's mother's name was Hatara Rotama. Hatara was a beautiful young woman, emphasis on the word young. She was only seventeen years old when she gave birth to Savitri, which was a result of growing up in such a horrible neighborhood. Hatara's family didn't have that much money when she was young, so she resorted to the only thing she could think of, which was prostitution. One day, well, Milo happened to be her client, and the result was Savitri. As soon as Hatara realized she was pregnant, she stopped doing what she had been doing. She never told her parents how she got pregnant with Savitri, or how she ever got the money to take care of her, but they had their suspicions.
For a while, things seemed good. They had enough money and Hatara was managing quite well, but soon her moment of prosperity came to an end, as all good things do. Hatara didn't want to go back to her former job, so she instead started working part time as a waitress at a coffee shop, part time as a house cleaner. If she ever had any free time, she would be babysitting kids, leaving little time for Savitri in her schedule. While her pay check didn't leave much room for leisure items, it was enough to pay for the necessities. Siblings:
Savitri has no siblings, although she had always wanted a little sister. Pets:
Savitri's family never had enough money to buy a pet, but Savitri has been secterly saving up for a pet jackal. History:
On October thirteenth, in the year 1994, Savitri Ivv Rotama was born. From the moment she was born, Hatara Rotama, the mother of the baby, knew that Savitri was different. She had some strange feeling that the child was special somehow, and not just in the way that all parents feel their kid is special. She truly felt that Savitri was special and that she had some great power, which scared her. In fact, Hatara had even been thinking of giving the child up for adoption for quite some time, but she was afraid that if the child were to be raised by a different family, something would go horribly wrong, so she kept Savitri close by her. In fact, as a child, Savitri was rarely left on her own.
As Saviitri got older, her mother started to forget about the feeling that Savitri would get into trouble if she were alone, and she started to do things on her own. It was around this time that Savitri decided she would rather be someone else than get hurt for being herself, so she changed. She started wearing the skull makeup and talking to others. Many people stopped talking to Savitri, until, finally, she had no friends. By that point, nearly everyone was convinced that she was someone who wasn't to be messed with.
Savitri wasn't sure where that left her, seeing as she really wasn't someone who wasn't to be messed with, but she liked the authority. She never said anything when people younger than her would run away from her, quivering, but she would smirk at them and raise an eyebrow, which normally would cause their eyes to widen and they would just run away even faster. Savitri found that amusing, although she supposed she shouldn't, but she just shrugged it off.
One day when Savitri was thirteen, she was attacked by a monster while at school. A satyr was at the school in disguise as a student, and he helped Savitri defeat the monster and get away from school. He hailed a taxi and Savitri told the cab driver her home address. They stayed at Savitri's house until her mother came home from her job.
Hatara was shocked to see Savitri at the table with who she assumed was a friend, waiting for her to come home. It wasn't something she had even seen in a long time, and she had almost started to forget what it looked like. She had started to smile when she noticed that they both looked so grave. The satyr, who was named Rian, told Hatara what had happened at the school and about camp, the only place Savitri could truly be safe. Before he took Savitri to camp, Rian asked Hatara about any other odd occurrences, and she mentioned many times that Savitri hadn't even noticed anything was wrong. This left Rian to conclude she was some strong demigod, possibly a big three.
When they got to camp, Savitri was lumped into the Hermes cabin, which was where she had stayed for two and a half of her years at camp. She stayed year-round until the year she was claimed as the camp's first Hawaiian demigod. Nobody knew what the sign above her head had meant, and many people thought she was a daughter of Hades and that he had finally broken his vow. Chiron, though, knew that she wasn't a daughter of Hades. After a fair amount of research, it was clear that Savitri was a daughter of Milo, the Hawaiian lord of the underworld. A Hawaiian cabin went under construction then, and Savitri stayed in one of the uninhabited cabins, even though the Hermes cabin had offered to let her stay.
Savitri stayed in one of the uninhabited cabins because she could feel the tension between her and the other campers when it was determined that she wasn't Greek. One night she would be in the Zeus cabin, another in the Hera cabin, another in the Artemis cabin, and occasionally in the Poseidon cabin, but only as long as Percy wasn't in there. She was excused from Ancient Greek and Ancient Greek History, seeing as she wasn't Greek. Normally whenever she was supposed to have them, which was around the end of the day, she would call a cab and go to New York to watch a movie or go shopping or something.
One year Savitri tried to stay home and go to school, and everything seemed to go smooth. Everyone stayed away from her, and plenty of rumours were going around about where she had been. Many people said that she had to do some mission for the FBI or something, although Sabitri knew that wasn't true. She did nothing to stop it, even when people aksed her. She would just shrug and smile mysteriously. In fact, she somewhat enforced The Rumour lolololol guise see what I did there? more than she denied it.
One day while she was walking to school, a monster found her. She ran home and told her mother before she went to work, who then sent her back to camp.
BangarangPowers:
- Summoning skeletons - Savitri can summon one to twenty skeletons, fifteen times a day. It doesn't really drain her unless she does it all ten times in a row. The skeletons can do a range of things from cleaning her room to helping her fight. They cannot speak, and they come from a variety of time periods. When the skeletons are attacked or Savitri doesn't need them anymore, the skeletons collapse and fall apart.
- Summoning ghosts - Savitri can also summon ghosts, about ten times a day. This makes her very tired. The ghosts don't really do anything, they're mainly to talk to. She'll summon a ghost to scare someone, maybe, or to get information. She can also do a summoning like Nico did in The Battle of the Labyrinth which doesn't drain her. (The summoning from The Battle of the Labyrinth included a six foot deep hole, large enough to fit a grave in and filled with food and drinks. She would have to chant in some magical language whooo and then the ghosts appear, although she's never heard of this method before.)
- Shadow traveling - Savitri can also shadow travel twenty times a day. She can go twenty miles by herself, fifteen with someone else. Her limit of extra people is two. After using this power, she usually is somewhat sweaty and has to sit down for a little bit.
- Controlling shadows - Savitri can do this thing with shadows where she controls them. What this power does is it pretty much solidifies shadows, allowing Savitri to use them as weapons, or to do other things, such as help her clean her room. Savitri, who is a huge fan of Avatar: the Last Airbender, describes this as shadow bending, seeing as the show calls people who can use the elements to their will benders of that element, (air benders, water benders, earth benders, fire benders) and while shadows aren't exactly an element, she figures that it's close enough. In order to use this power, Savitri can do one of two things. She can either stand completely still while the shadows do her bidding, such as attacking people and cleaning her room, which lets her rest, or she can control the shadows with her hand motions. When Savitri is fighting someone, she prefers to use this method, because it makes her look a lot cooler. Savitri can use this power about forty times a day, and it makes her more tired depending on how many times she has done it in the past hour, how long she held the shadow(s) for, and how many times she's already used it. If she uses it for the first time, she doesn't feel tired at all. The second time in one hour, she still doesn't feel tired, and it takes about six times for her to become noticeably tired, more so if she's been holding each shadow for a longer amount of time. If she's used the power several in the previous hour, it takes some more effort, while the first time of the day is completely effortless. This power is newly developed, and Savitri doesn't have full control over it yet. She's much better at controlling this power with body movement, and if she is either very irritated/angry or very happy, shadows sometimes tend to flicker around her, hardening and then softening. If it gets to the point that she's so angry/irritated/happy that she has truly lost control over the power, the shadows may fully harden and fly at whatever is the cause of the strong emotion, or something nearby. This mainly happens when she is angry or irritated, although it has happened occasionally when she is happy. The shadows could start solidifying from something as simple as Savitri clenching her hand or her grabbing for something.
Role-play example:
Savitri shivered and blew on her hands as she waited in line to get a hot dog. It was crazy how long the lines for street meat were, but street meat was far better than the food at camp. Well, that was just what Savittri thought, anyways.
"This place isn't really street meat, anyways," Savitri mutters to herself. "They've got a building and all." she adds, even though she isn't talking to anyone. She looks at the building of Grays Papaya, where anyone who wanted quality hot dogs obviously had to go. They were the best hot dogs in the world, and that was a fact. Well, Savitri thought it should be.
She clenched her teeth as someone tried to get in line in front of her. "Please, ma'am," a young girl said to her. "The line's so long and I'm so cold and hungry..."
"You think I'm not hungry?" Savitri said to the girl, a dangerous tint to her voice. "You think I'm not freezing? I've been in this line way longer than you. So no. Go to the back." The girl's face fell, but Savitri just glared at her until she went to the back of the line. Any notes:
